SIMULATOR
We are very proud of our Simulator, if you go on to many web sites you will find many people offering Simulators, but the fact is in the UK there are about 12 left, there are good ones and there are bad ones, its mainly down to age.
The Simulators history is like all technology, the early SR2 is like the Betamax Video good in its time not as good today, then came the Super X and Astrojet again good in the 80s early 90's. Then out came the last ones made by Thomson, the Ventura. So you see there is a difference when you book a simulator you want the latest...There are still a few of the old Astrojet simulators about so please be carefull.
Our Simulator is one of the last Venturer Simulators made by Thomsons in 2004 it was re airbrushed following a long promotion by a well known game producer. Our simulator only attends private events if its not hired out then it will stay closed, we do not take it to street fairs and wear it out, we are proud when a guest goes in our simulator as the inside is like the day it came out of the showroom. At the begining of this season (2007) it was upgraded to DVD, it also had a new screen and a high definition projector, and just to round things off we replaced all the seats with new sporty ones.
It has fast rams which gives a fast reaction to the movement and makes it fun but we can slow it down for the faint hearted
We have a wide variety of films in our collection to suit all tastes and as its so easy to change experiences, we often show a few throughout the day. It takes seconds to change films.
We can also arrange your own film to be made on any subject its that easy. Of course there is a cost for this but if you take a film of any subject we can get it made into a 3 minute ride
During the summer inside the capsule there are 2 air-conditioning units to ensure riders do not get too hot. For those who do prefer a gentle ride we have the same experiences with a gentle setting
